New Jordans 2019 continues to add new colorways to the iconic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG silhouette. Next up to join those ranks is the “Hyper Royal” color scheme that you see here. Boasting a similar main color to the recently released “Game Royal” iteration, this sneaker’s upper comes almost entirely adorned in that hue with premium leather. An off white Swoosh, wings logo, and midsole offer some reprise from that color and add contrast. Pairs are expected to arrive at Jordan Brand retailers on July 7th with the usual Retro High OG retail price of $160 USD. Each of the four pairs in the collection pays homage to a different set of accomplishments from Michael Jordan’s storied career told through his love of card games. The “Track Red” colorway nods to the 6 NBA Championships Michael Jordan won with the Bulls, while the six-of-a-kind card graphic on the insole reminds us just how impossible that feat is. The “Blue Moon” opts for a straight flush hand on the right insole while acknowledging MJ’s fourteen All-Star game appearances and three MVP awards of that occasion.

As MJ and many of the other game’s greats will tell you, individual achievements are nice, but the main goal is to win a championship, which the “Track Red” pair pays tribute to with a six-of-a-kind graphic. Finally, “Clay Green” rounds out this distinguished pack to remind consumers of everything Michael has done throughout his career – from the aforementioned honors to Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and his Hall of Fame induction with a full house. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Clay Green,” one quarter of the highly-anticipated “Best Hand In The Game” Jordan 1 pack has a new, earlier release date.
