Grabbing on to the famed “Tennis Ball” look that was championed by the HyperMax sneaker from 2009, this PG 1 release brings on the green/yellow hue in a tonal effort on the upper and outsole with a simple black outline on the Swoosh logo. You won’t see the OKC small forward lace these up this season, but it’s hard to deter this punchy colorway on one of the year’s best new basketball shoes. Expect these at and select retailers in mid-December.The inaugural PK80 basketball tournament is in full swing with the favorites of both the Victory and the Motion brackets on a proverbial collision course to meet in the championship matches scheduled for Sunday evening.
Nike Air Jordan 2017 features some special edition sneakers and uniforms that are meant to honor the time-tested look of one of the Swoosh’s co-founders – Phil Knight. Titanic college basketball brands like North Carolina, Duke, and Michigan State are all playing in the tournament and have been lacing up the nearly tonal black silhouettes with hints of bronze and iridescent tones to mimic Knight’s infamous tinted sunglasses.Paul George’s debut signature shoe continues to gain traction as the perennial all-star begins to get comfortable in his new home in Oklahoma City. The new design is now being rolled out in more team-based colorways as the Nike PG1 is now adorned in Phoenix Suns-inspired purple with a white speckled midsole unit. This model comes complete with a black inner bootie to match the outsole while the Suns’ vibrant orange is hidden on George’s signature the shoe’s insole. The Nike PG1 in purple and orange will be arriving at Nike retailers as well as on December 1st.The beginning of a new era began in Oklahoma City last night as Paul George and Carmelo Anthony made their Thunder debuts. The successful launch of George’s Nike PG1 signature line has been one of Nike Basketball’s most important projects this year and it reached a new level last night when the 4-time All Star debuted this loud orange and yellow rendition on the court. This PE was first seen on George’s instagram handle back in September when he gave a preview of five Thunder-ready colorways for the 2017-18 NBA season.
Best Jordans 2018 have followed the career of Paul George know not only that he has blossomed into one of the NBA’s biggest talents but also know that he spends a great deal of off-court time on the water. In fact, PG even hosted a fishing tournament for his new Thunder teammates back in August. In a tribute to George’s love of fishing, Nike created the Nike PG 1 “Midnight In OKC” PE inspired by fishing in the late summer nights. The colorway is styled in a deep navy suede upper that features a vibrant orange Swoosh and gradient yellow-orange sock liner. The orange and yellow detailing continues in the speckling of the navy midsole. There is no word if this PE will hit retailers. However, Paul George did don the colorway in a Thunder victory over the Mavs on Sunday night, in which PG dropped 37 points and 8 boards. While Paul George’s season with the Thunder hasn’t gotten off to a blazing start, his first signature shoe continues to impress with another clean colorway. The golden accents on this Nike PG 1 offering add an attractive flash of color to a simple black and white design with a speckled midsole. This new offering is a potential candidate for George to lace up during the season the the gold could be paired with the tertiary color of the Thunder uniforms. Getting ready for the upcoming season, the Duke Blue Devils are ranks number 1 and have something special from Nike Basketball. Shown is the Nike PG 1 ‘Duke’ PE which the players will wear during the start of the season.
