This edition of the head-turning sneaker features a tasteful blue/light green/soft gold gradient fade on the upper, while accents are provided by a white foot cage, heel, and midsole, and an crystal-clear VaporMax unit on the bottom. A small amount of 3M detailing provides a bit of extra flair and completes the shoe’s look. Expect these colorful kicks to drop on Nike‘s webstore April 6th.Spring has sprung although the weather in some parts of the country might have you believe otherwise, and with the change of season comes Nike’s brand-new slate of Vapormax Plus releases, a hybrid between the classic Air Max Plus and their current flagship Air Max sneaker, the Vapormax. Arriving in four new colorways, two for men and two for women the futuristic sneaker is offered in a “Neon” colorway inspired by the classic Air Max 95 of the same name as well as three different colorful gradient patterns: “Aqua,” “Reverse Sunset,” and a “Tangerine Tint”. Several retailers such as Concepts have pairs from the collection available now, and the shoe is slated for a full official release April 6th.
Nike Air Jordan 2017 has sprung although the weather in some parts of the country might have you believe otherwise, and with the change of season comes Nike’s brand-new slate of Vapormax Plus releases, a hybrid between the classic Air Max Plus and their current flagship Air Max sneaker, the Vapormax. Sporting a clean white overlay, its flexible underlay starts with a deep orange at the tongue and makes its way all the way to a neon yellow resting on its heel. Sunsets have become a popular aesthetic with this particular model, as the Swoosh has already introduced a regular “Sunset” pair as well as a “Tropical Sunset” variety. Units of this women’s exclusive Nike Vapormax Plus selection will be available at Nike Sportswear retailers like Rock City Kicks soon.
Best Jordans 2018 has a brand new colorway that pays tribute to the origins of the model its upper get is inspiration from – the Air Max Plus. Air Max Plus designer, Sean McDowell, had tropical vibes in mind when creating its gradient upper, picturing palm trees blowing in the breeze at sunset on a sandy beach in Florida. Seen here is the “Tropical Sunset” colorway that begins with ocean-like blue at its toe and makes it way to colors of the sunset, with yellow beginning at the suns peak and making its way to a deep red – the color the sky is at when the sun is closest to setting. Its Vapormax-inspired sole unit comes in black to match its heel tab, lace unit, and signature piping, allowing the color scheme to truly pop. Some of Nike’s hybridized designs turn out looking a bit forced, they boast uppers that do not look like they belong on the midsoles they are placed atop. However, that is certainly not the case with the Nike Vapormax Plus, as its Air Max Plus upper seamlessly rests on top of its Vapormax sole unit, as if it weren’t a hybrid at all. Joining the ranks of one of the Swoosh’s newest silhouette is this Wolf Grey iteration that sees its body dressed up in a tonal hue, sporting a shell-like overlay with textile underlays underneath and a hit of metallic silver on its midfoot shank.
